Team Marc

Bio

Marc was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Sydney University with a Law major, he completed his legal qualifications with part-time study and full-time work at a law firm in Crows Nest, Sydney.

Marc felt that combining practical experience with academic learning gave him a well rounded view of the law, and drove his focus of being client oriented in the advice that he gave.

Marc established Marc Hardman and Associates in 1994. Prior to that, he had run the Parramatta office of Colin Biggers & Paisley since his Admission as a Solicitor. By the time he left, he had become a Partner in that firm. Establishing his own firm was brought on by a desire to better service his clients and have a greater control of the direction of his legal practice. He takes great pride in his staff and their abilities, loyalty and willingness to learn.

Over the years Marc has strived to give practical and targeted advice to all his clients. He strongly believes in a holistic approach to issues that take into account what is in the best interests of his clients. His aim has always been to establish long term relationships with clients and he is pleased to say he now acts for many of the children of clients he initially acted for many years ago.

Marc has extensive experience in all property related matters, estate planning, commercial and business law, family provision matters and probate and administration of deceased estates. He works closely with many property developer clients, providing a comprehensive service for all their legal needs.

The French have an expression for when you ask someone what job they do….metier. It is not simply, “what is your role?”, but it roughly translates as “what are you the master of?”. Marc likes to think that he has found his metier in the law. Although, he does also have a not so secret passion for making cheese!
